PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION
Maduramicin is a monovalent glycoside polyether ionophore antibiotic. It induces an anticoccidial effect on the asexual forms (sporozoites, merozoites and falciform bodies) of the endogenous development of coccidia in poultry, some resistant forms to other ionophore antibiotics included. Its anticoccidial activity is due to disorder in ion metabolism (potassium and sodium in particular).
INDICATIONS
For prevention and control of coccidiosis in chickens for fattening, chickens reared for laying up to 16 weeks of age; turkeys poults up to 16 weeks of age.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not treat animals with feed supplemented with Maduracox® while receiving, or for at least seven days before or after receiving feed containing tiamulin. Do not mix with another anticoccidial. Toxic for horses and other equines.
MODE OF ADMINISTRATION Orally, thoroughly mixed into feed. In order to reach uniform homogenization with feed, it is recommended to mix the measured quantity of the preparation (calculated on the basis of the prescribed dose) on stages in the following order: up to 10 kg feed; up to 100 kg feed; and up to 1000 kg feed.
TARGET SPECIES
Chickens for fattening, chickens reared for laying up to 16 weeks of age, turkeys up to 16 weeks of age.
DOSAGE
For Poultry 500 GM/MT of Feed
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
5 (five) days after the last administration of the product.
STORAGE
In the original packing, well closed, in dry and well-ventilated facilities, protected from direct sunlight.
PACKING
25 kg PE-lined multi-layer paper bags.
