Mode of ACTION

In the gastrointestinal tract the mannan oligosaccharides present in the MOS Active bind to fimbriae of pathogenic bacteria, exercising a function of protection of enterocytes.

Due to the affinity of the mannan oligosaccharides to bacterial fimbriae, YC PRO has agglutinative function on pathogenic bacteria, by dragging them out of the gastrointestinal tract, inhibiting colonization of pathogens and generating improvement intestinal health and zootechnical performance of animals.

Beta glucans act as immunostimulants to interact synergistically with defense cells (macrophages, granulocytes, lymphocytes).
