(1) Pharmacodynamics: The antibacterial effect is similar to that of tylosin, mainly against Gram-positive bacteria, and is also effective against a few Gram-negative bacteria and mycoplasmas. Its activity against Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella, and Mycoplasma spp. is stronger than that of tylosin. It is reported that 95% of hemolytic Pasteurella strains are sensitive to this product.

 

(2) Pharmacokinetics: This product is rapidly absorbed after oral administration or subcutaneous injection, has strong tissue penetration, and has a large distribution volume.
