Tylvalosin exhibits antibacterial activity against a wide range of Gram-positive bacteria, including Staphylococci, Micrococci, Microbacteria, Bacillus, Corynebacterium, Aeromonas, Campylobacter, Enterococci, Streptococci, Arthrobacter, and Clostridium. It also exhibits excellent antibacterial activity against mycoplasmas, with the effect being more pronounced at high concentrations. Furthermore, Tylvalosin is also effective against diseases caused by pathogens such as Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, Brachyspira hyodysenteriae, and Lawsonia intracellularis.
